Employer is looking for an experienced professional to teach in the area of Industrial Maintenance. This person will be responsible for planning, developing and presenting organized curricula, including course outlines, syllabi, and other instructional materials, for a hands-on, competency based learning environment. Duties include teaching computer tools and simulation software, Industrial Safety, Technical Communication Fundamentals, Maintenance Basics, Fluid Power (Hydraulics and Pneumatics), Industrial Mechanics and Alignment, Electrical/Electronic Basics, Electronics Troubleshooting, Electric Motor Controls, Programmable Logic Controllers, Industrial Robotics, Automatic Controls Troubleshooting, HVAC and Ammonia Refrigeration, Instrumentation Process Control, Green Energy Background such as Photovoltaic, Energy Efficiency, and Wind Turbines, Welding and Composites. Also requires lab organization, outreach presentation skills, maintaining an organized learning environment, curriculum development, grading and other teaching duties. Preference will be given to person with a degree in related fields and/or multiple years of experience in industrial maintenance and teaching. Applicants must be highly motivated, well organized, people oriented, previous teaching experience and industry certifications preferred.
