About the Program:

DieselThe Diesel Program at Bridgerland Applied Technology College is regarded by many as the top training facility in the intermountain region. Individualized hands-on instruction, supplemented with state-of-the-art facilities, quality instructors, and high placement, assure the student a positive training experience. The Diesel Program is an ASE Certified program through NATEF.

Employment Outlook:

Over the past few years, the diesel field has grown tremendously. The prime reason for this growth has been the increasing demand for the use of diesels in the trucking and construction industries. Once the equipment is put into operation, it must be properly maintained for years of extended use. This increase in the use of diesel engines has prompted a demand for highly skilled service and repair technicians. Diesel technicians know the function of each part of the vehicle and use that knowledge to diagnose problems to make adjustments and repairs.
